What to Expect

Being well-prepared for your surgery will ensure that we have all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may experience.

Comfortable, loose clothing is recommended for the day of surgery. Please leave all jewelry and valuables at home.

Bring your driver’s license and insurance card with you, and arrange to have a companion drive you home after surgery.

Please abstain from eating or drinking for at least 8 hours prior to the time scheduled for your surgery. If you take any medications in the morning, please contact your physician or call us for instruction regarding taking the medication in the morning on the day of surgery.
